This session will highlight online resources (from free websites to paid databases), must-have secondary sources, and cutting-edge advice for supporting IP attorneys. The speakers will concentrate on key resources and will provide an annotated and comprehensive handout that will include other important IP tools.

Takeaway 1: Participants will be able to use the resources identified in the program to appropriately and effectively respond to the needs of their intellectual property (IP) attorneys.

Takeaway 2: Participants will be able to evaluate the resources presented, identifying their strengths and weaknesses as applied to IP research.

Takeaway 3: Participants will take away a checklist of resources to use as a guideline when deciding where to search for an intellectual property request.
