Today’s workplace can be challenging. The world is smaller, impacts are more profound, decisions (or lack thereof) have more serious consequences, stress is the norm, and uncertainty is rampant. And yet, there are those who – despite having great responsibilities – still can’t wait to get to work. Why? They are leaders who know they make a difference every day.
In one way or another, true leaders spend most of their day shaping other leaders. This session will change the way you view leadership and inspire you to adapt this new ideology to your job today, regardless of your current position. Examine the old myths and the new truths: what works, what doesn’t, and why. Discover why true leadership is no longer reserved for the rarified few at the top.
Takeaway 1: Participants will be able to identify and debunk four leadership myths.
Takeaway 2: Participants will have a new definition of leadership that directly impacts their current position—regardless of what that is.
Takeaway 3: Participants will learn how to view everyone in the organization as a potential leader.
